Oboe d’Amore Reed Blanks

These tied-on only unscraped reeds are made with superior quality medium (M) and medium-hard (MH) density cane.

– For a German style, we recommend our RC OA0 or RC OA1 Reed Shapers with Chiarugi #2 staples.
– For a French style, we recommend the RC OA2 Reed Shaper with Chiarugi #2 staples.

These reeds are available in three différent gouge strengths: Medium Soft (MS), Medium (M), and Medium Hard (MH). We apply varying measurement ratios between the centre and sides of the cane, depending on the cane qualities and the desired reed strength.

Our selection of reed blanks allows the player to try out our different Roseau Chantant Reed Shapers.
