Reed Tip Cutters oboe and cor anglais
We offer two types of reed tip cutters:
- The clipper to cut the tip of an unscraped reed,
- The guillotine for finishing a scraped reed, providing a very fine cut as part of the balance of the reed.
The practical Ando clippers are available at a very affordable price. These are easy to use and can replace a flat plaque used to open the reed before scraping. Finally, the Reeds’n Stuff and Rieger Reed Guillotine is a fantastic tool that will be greatly appreciated by oboists for its essential qualities.
