We offer sheets of goldbeaters skin or plastic film forming a perfect seal and tightness of the reed. When properly applied, the goldbeater will help avoid air leakage thereby increasing the efficiency of the vibration of your reed.
As for the plastic wrap, it too minimizes air leakage allowing for better control of the opening of the reed and avoiding the crossing of the 2 blades.
