This staple is made with the same conical shape as the Chiarugi #2, but is slightly wider throughout its entire length. It is somewhat higher in pitch and speaks more easily at the octave. N.B., it can cause problems of instability on sensitive notes such as G and C in the middle register, if used at the 47 mm length.
Note : It is more stable in the 46 mm or 45 mm versions, whilst retaining its ease of speaking at the octave and in the highest register.
