Alliaud gouged oboe cane

This is French cane harvested in the Luberon region and the northern Camargue. It is dense, typically fairly hard, and very stable. Its texture is smooth, beautiful and often nicely mottled. The cane is processed with the greatest know-how by one of the most renowned companies in the business. Three generations have successively contributed to the success of Alliaud SARL: Mr. François Alliaud, who succeeded Mr. Paul Alliaud, and finally Mr. Rémi Alliaud, who currently runs the company. The great skill and professionalism of these craftsmen mean that this cane is amongst the most sought after by professional and amateur oboists alike.

The gouged cane comes in bundles of 10 pieces.

Note : Please note that gouging measurements are performed on dry cane. Performing these operations on soaked cane would distort the collected data (thickness can increase by up to 0.01mm – 0.02mm when wet).
