One Year
Canadian Activities of Le Roseau Chantant
Dear Customer,
It has been exactly one year since Le Roseau Chantant ceased its operations in France and settled in “La Belle Province” of Québec in the Montreal region of Canada.
During this first year post-move, we are happy to announce that we have established a slightly smaller but highly efficient Company. A few acknowledgements are in order, since this endeavour would not have been possible without the dedicated and professional contribution from my team, namely Roberto, Caroline, Jean-Sébastian, Emersonn, and Luka. I also wish to take this opportunity to thank my wife, Daniela, for her significant contribution with the accounting and administration, all while holding a full-time job. Her support has been invaluable and is deeply appreciated.
This transition year has been successful: we have managed to retain a notable percentage of our European and Asian customers, while also penetrating the North American market, primarily in the USA. It is our hope that this positive trend will continue and spread further into Canada as well. As well as being available for purchase directly through our new website, our products are also sold worldwide through our authorized dealers, namely: Howarth of London, Uwe Henze GmBH, Frank und Meyer, Oboe Shop, Kreedo, Reeds’n Stuff, Oboes.ch, Spiri GmBH, Hodge Products USA, Aperture Music Bucharest, Zasmusic, Gualco Music ,and Nonaka Boeki.
We are well aware of the availability of unauthorized and faulty copies of our RC straight shapers sold by a Dutch Company, and are regularly being asked by our customers where they can be assured of the purchase of our authentic original shapers. The following is a complete list of authorized dealers where these may be found: in the U.K., Howarth of London; in Germany, Uwe Henze GmBH and Oboe Shop; in Switzerland, Oboes.ch; and in Japan, Nonaka Boeki.
During this first year since our relocation to Canada, our focus has been on staff training alongside mounting the full operational structure of our artisanal reed-making and cane-processing activities. Ensuring the highest quality of machinery and tools, as well as the distribution of accessories, has remained our top priority, and we are pleased with our results.
We have been distributing top quality instruments since our inception in 1998, and are delighted to announce that we will be relaunching this side of our business this coming fall, with the distribution of the following select brands: Lorée, Howarth of London, and the up and coming German Company Mönnig of Markneukirchen, which is quickly gaining prominence with musicians in Europe and Asia, and will be of interest to North American oboists who have yet to make the acquaintance of its exceptionally fine instruments.
Our main goal now is to replenish our stock and maintain a permanent inventory of oboes, Cors anglais and oboes d’amore, ensuring year-round availability of exceptional instruments for our discerning customers. We save you the trouble of flying off to Paris, London, or Berlin for your purchase, whilst you enjoy peace of mind in knowing that all of our instruments are selected with the greatest professional care by oboists of international repute.
We would like to reassure all of our customers that we are ready and eager to serve you once again, and look forward to working with you.
Sincerely,
Dimiter Jordanov
