La pellicule en plastique est un sujet très controversé chez les hautboïstes. Sans prendre parti, voici quelques avantages et quelques inconvénients : elle vous aidera à ne plus avoir de fuites d’air, mais, par contre, elle diminuera l’efficacité vibratoire de votre anche.
Si elle est appliquée correctement, elle vous aidera également à avoir un meilleur contrôle de l’ouverture et surtout à garder les deux lamelles plus en face.
Note : Ne montez pas la pellicule au-delà de 0.7 – 0.8 mm au-dessus de la fin de fil. L’inconvénient majeur de la pellicule plastique est qu’elle garde l’humidité et ne permet pas à l’anche de sécher correctement, surtout avec une anche neuve. Il est donc conseillé de l’enlever après avoir utilisé l’anche.
